French is taught by our expert French teacher Mrs. Gallois during class teachers PPA times and is currently enjoyed across both key stages who work together to ensure continuity and progression. It is presented in a fun way where children participate in games and songs, thus developing their language skills. Throughout the school year, the children have different opportunity to present to an audience in French and to produce exciting work for our whole school french display.

- Grammar
We believe learning French supports general language and literacy development and complements other aspects of the curriculum. At Rackham, firm foundations are set for further foreign language study at secondary school.
