Hello and a very warm welcome to The Rackham Church of England (VC) Primary School.
Our website is designed to give you a flavour of our school and we invite you to visit to find out more.
The Rackham is a mainstream school and serves the community of Witchford and outlying villages. The Rackham is 1.5 form entry school with a distinctive Christian ethos.
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development in order to prepare our children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life. We promote community cohesion and embed British values.
The Rackham team support pupils to develop a love of learning through achievement. We engage and motivate; learning through a variety of approaches and opportunities. A range of clubs and after school activities enable our pupils to try new things and follow interests.
The Rackham is a place where everyone is included and valued. We are proud that our children enjoy coming to school, knowing education and care are at the centre of everything they do.
With a focus on excellence, creative thinking and challenge, we nurture and celebrate individual talents and interests, emphasising high expectations and always trying one’s best in every situation. Our Christian values underpin our approach and provide our children with a clear understanding of how to become lifelong learners.
