All children in our school have regular RE lessons based on the Cambridgeshire Syllabus, looking at a range of faiths.
Due to our Christian heritage, we follow enhanced modules aimed to increase children's understanding of Christianity through the Understanding Christianity curriculum. We also utilise the Agreed Syllabus to ensure coverage of world faiths.
Inclusive RE is essential, please find below a link to read about the educational objectives and content of the RE syllabus.
Parents and carers have the right to request their child is withdrawn from RE lessons.

The new agreed syllabus was launched in June 2023. RE is a part of the basic curriculum, to be taught alongside the National Curriculum. This Locally Agreed Syllabus details the statutory requirement for all schools in Cambridgeshire as set out in the Education Act 1988 and confirmed by the Education Acts of 1996 and School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
